I moved into a new apartment last week.
Cheap rent… too cheap.
The first night, I heard knocking.
Not on the door—
from inside the closet.
I laughed it off… until it knocked back when I tapped.
Last night, I opened it.
Nothing inside… just darkness.
But when I went to bed, I heard it again—
This time, from under my bed.
And the closet door slowly creaked open… by itself.
