Good evening Vancouver. This evening we’ll be speaking with Yumiko Watanabe, whose latest collection of short stories, entitled “Birds of a Feather”, recently won the Marigold Prize. Her stories are based on her own experiences as the child of a famous musician and brilliant scientist. Ms. Watanabe was born in Tokyo, but her parents’ remarkable career took the family all over the world.
