Pāhonoa te oro

The Polar bear is typically around 10 feet long and usually weighs 800 to 1600 pounds, sometimes even 2000 pounds. Just like the Siberian tiger, these guys live in frosty climates, which is the reason that polar bears have thick fur coats. Not only is their fur thick, it is unlike any other animal. Their fur keeps them so warm that they can overheat occasionally, especially in warmer months of the year.
