Did you know Iran’s flag has changed many times over history? In ancient Persia, the lion and sun symbol represented power and royalty. During different dynasties, the colors green, white, and red became important. But after the 1979 revolution, the flag changed completely. Today’s flag includes a unique symbol representing Islam and the phrase ‘Allahu Akbar’ repeated along the edges.
