Pāhonoa te oro

Out there on the open sea, far from any land, a young explorer named Isagani sails in his small wooden boat. The waves move slow and steady, like they have all the time in the world. The wind brushes his face, gentle and calm, as if the ocean itself is watching over him. Isagani loves the sea. You can see it in the way he looks at the horizon—quiet, but full of wonder
