Here's an important announcement. The Shy-octon-Boveena Fire Department is asking the public’s help to fill more sandbags for residents in the surrounding area. Anyone who’s able to help is asked to come to the fire hall. A number of streets are closed, so be careful if you plan to make the drive. The Village of Shyocton expects the river to reach an all-time high this week. While the man-a-wah fire department is still asking for volunteers to continue to help sandbag the water treatment plant.
