Why did running up the stairs at night feel like a chase scene??
You turn off the lights downstairs… and immediately something spawns behind you.
I don’t care what anyone says.
You start walking fast… then faster… then it’s a full sprint.
Skipping steps like your life depends on it.
Because if you don’t reach the top before “it” does… it’s over.
And you CANNOT look back.
Looking back is basically inviting it to grab you.
So you just launch yourself onto your bed like you completed a mission.
