Pāhonoa te oro

Wild I’ve encountered the bizarre but Platybelodon pelodes puts all other oddities to shame. This creature can be found lurking in swamps, often submerged in mud. Its affinity for mud extends beyond a simple bath. As if it weren’t strange enough already, it also uses mud offensively, flinging it at foes with its iconic, shovel-shaped lower tusks.
