Lava is so extremely hot that even touching it slightly would make you scream. The lava that comes out of a volcano is around 600 degrees Celsius, and near the crater it can reach up to 1200 degrees Celsius. If you pour even a small amount of lava into water, the water will instantly start boiling. And sometimes, some craters may look solid from the top, but they are only solid on the surface. Because when you throw something onto them, they immediately start bubbling
