Sister Irene uses the sacred relic that contains the Blood of Christ. While Valak is still holding her underwater, she takes some of the blood into her mouth but continues to be forced down. She stays underwater as Valak keeps trying to stop her from rising. Irene then slowly raises her hand, showing the relic above the water.
