Pāhonoa te oro

The design is rooted in a data-driven analysis of urban flows and environmental variables. Spatial zoning is optimized to harmonize the intense tourist influx with quiet pockets for local residents. The sustainability strategy is holistic, incorporating permeable paving for aquifer recharge, Xeriscaping with native Mediterranean species to minimize water demand, and a life-cycle approach through the use of locally-sourced, regenerative materials.
