Episode 7. Flashback to a rainy day, pouring buckets. A young Shizuka is walking home when she finds a tiny, abandoned puppy shivering in the mud. She can't leave it, so she brings it home, only to get a cold-blooded welcome from her father. "What do you plan to do with that pathetic, weak stray, daughter of mine?" he barks. "You have a duty to stand above the rest. Don't waste your time on useless things. Only do what helps you win, or you're no better than that dog—ready to be tossed out." Ba
