Most animals run away from volcano eruptions…
But this bird runs toward them.
This is the Volcano junco,
one of the few birds that lives near active volcanoes.
It builds its nest in lava rocks,
walks on ash soil,
and survives where almost nothing can live.
These birds live near real volcanoes in Costa Rica,
where eruptions can happen anytime.
Nature is unbelievable…
Some animals fear volcanoes…
