Pāhonoa te oro

This is the story of 17-year-old Ethan Sullivan and his precious little sister, Lily. Lily's birthday was just around the corner. She was about to turn four years old. And her big brother Ethan wanted nothing more than to give her a birthday she would never forget. But the Sullivan family was poor. Their father worked exhausting labour jobs just to keep food on the table, and their mother took in sewing work to help make ends meet.
