Because someone asks you a question
And you don’t hear them
So you say ‘what?’
But then your brain processes what they said
Right after you already said ‘what?’
So now you answer the question
While they’re repeating it again
And now you both just stop
And it’s just awkward silence 😭
Why do we all do this?
