How dumb are the Viltrumites? When the Scourge virus spreads on Viltrum and everyone gets sick, Thrag orders the planet to be locked down and all non-Viltrumites killed so no one finds out they're weak. But as time passed, too many people died and there wasn't enough space to keep the bodies. So they started throwing them into space, and over time those bodies formed a giant ring around the planet, something any random alien flying by could see with their own eyes.
