The shadow moved slow… deliberate… like it was learning how to walk. Not drifting. Not flickering. Stepping. One careful inch at a time across the wall. My phone buzzed again. Another clip. The angle hadn’t changed. Still the hallway. Still my door. But now the shadow had depth. It wasn’t flat anymore.
