Pāhonoa te oro

The cold began to creep in. Without the sun, the air turned sharp and biting. Tom rubbed his arms, trying to warm himself, but it didn’t help much. His clothes felt thin, not made for a night like this. He curled in tighter against the tree, trying to hold onto what little warmth he had left.
