Every pencil starts with wood.
Carefully cut and shaped.
Next comes the graphite.
Mixed into the perfect core.
The wood and graphite are joined.
Then sanded and polished.
A layer of paint covers it.
And finally, a sharp point is added.
Sometimes an eraser tops it off.
Then it’s ready.
