On Dec. 17, Emily emailed Diaz, Harrity, Houston and Poole a letter detailing her “experiences and concerns” with the volleyball program, in which she specifically detailed her experience playing three seasons under Campbell. Fitzgerald said that she believes her and Mattox’s dismissals come from their leadership roles on the team. She said she only took on an “advocate” role in conversations with Campbell during her last term on the team.
