Pāhonoa te oro

The sigh that escaped my mouth encouraged me to slump further in my chair; I blink twice before getting up and making my way to the bathroom to rinse my face off. I look up at my reflection – half lit by the corridor light. ‘Didn’t part of that stupid ritual say you have to be in the dark in front of a mirror? This really does remind me of bloody Mary...’ I think with mild amusement. Caught in the line of thought, I jog back to my pc and find the post again. ‘Hmm so I need three candles? An
