The Power of Forgiveness
One day, a poor man was caught stealing bread in a small village. The angry crowd dragged him to Jesus and shouted, “He is a thief! Punish him!”
The man stood trembling, afraid for his life.
Jesus looked calmly at the crowd and then said softly,
“Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone.”
There was silence. One by one, people dropped their stones and walked away, feeling ashamed.
Jesus then turned to the man and said,
“I do not condemn you. Go, and do not
