I woke up at 3:12 a.m. to the sound of my phone buzzing.
Half asleep, I grabbed it and saw a text from an unknown number.
“Don’t look behind you.”
I laughed a little. Probably a wrong number.
Then another message came.
“I’m in your house.”
Now I was fully awake.
My room was completely dark, except for the glow of my phone. My door was slightly open, just like I left it.
I told myself it was fake. A prank.
Then my phone buzzed again.
“I can see you reading this.”
