Valak is slowly dragged back toward the dark pit where it came from, moving step by step as it loses control and gets pulled downward. It continues to be forced into the opening, going back to where it first appeared. At the same time, Sister Irene is still in the water, weakened and struggling after everything that happened. She remains underwater as Valak is pulled farther away from her. The distance between them increases as Valak disappears deeper into the pit. Irene is left behind in the ch
