If you were dropped inside a bag of popcorn, the temperature would slowly gradually rise and the kernels would start releasing hot vapor, cooking you alive. And if you somehow managed to survive that, the kernels would begin popping. Each one would send a shockwave while the unpopped kernels around turn into explosives. The butter across the floor makes it impossible to keep your footing, and the scorching oil clings to your skin, burning you and cooking your body.
