Adem and his friends Jack and Steve decided to stay after school at Brookside Middle School because everyone kept talking about what was hidden in the basement and no one had ever actually gone down there so they wanted to prove it was just a rumor when the last bell rang they hid in the bathroom until the halls went quiet and the lights dimmed then they slipped out and made their way to the old stairwell at the end of the hallway the door to the basement was usually locked but that day it was s
