New office. New people. She wanted to fit in. Didn’t want to seem “too sensitive.” Then one of her coworkers… a man in his 40s… started saying something strange. At first, it sounded like a joke. He would look at her and ask, “Can I kill you?” She laughed it off. What else could she do? It felt awkward… but she didn’t want to overreact. Didn’t want to be seen as someone who couldn’t take a joke. But he didn’t stop. He kept saying it. Again… and again… and again. Same tone. Same question
