Primary and Secondary Objectives
Every dive has a single, primary objective. It never changes: Every dive’s primary objective is for all divers to return safely. A complex tec dive requires significantly more training, planning and preparation than snorkeling on a shallow reef, but both dives have this same primary objective.
This should seem obvious. But, when divers forget this primary objective, significant problems can result.
