The closet door opened completely. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t turn around. But I knew… something was standing behind me. The girl outside the window stopped laughing. Her smile slowly faded. And for the first time… She looked scared. A voice came from behind me. Soft. Calm. Familiar. “Don’t turn around.” It was me. Same voice. Same tone. My mind snapped. “If you’re me… then what am I?” I whispered. The thing behind me didn’t answer. Instead… my phone lit up again. A new me
