Pāhonoa te oro

When she passed, her son hid her body in a closet, and because he told nobody, her pension checks kept arriving until three years later when her ID expired. Without that, he couldn't collect the money, so he wore makeup and a wig, then dressed in her clothes and went to renew it. But the clerk noticed stubble on the woman's chin and called police. They searched the woman's house and found her preserved remains inside, and the son was swiftly arrested soon after.
