Their faces were disturbingly smooth, almost lacking clear features, and when they raised their sleek firearms, faint runic symbols glowed along the barrels instead of ordinary mechanisms. Min-Jae initially assumed they were just corporate security, but the illusion quickly shattered when he noticed their shadows twisting along the wet pavement like crawling centiped
