You can record in various quality levels: low (22kHz mono, ~64kbps), medium (44.1kHz mono, ~128kbps), and high (48kHz stereo, ~320kbps). Higher quality produces larger files but better audio.

Basic editing features are available: you can trim the start and end of recordings to remove silence or unwanted sections. For more advanced editing, download the recording and use a dedicated audio editor like Audacity.

Yes, you can record multiple takes in a single session. Each recording is listed separately so you can play back, compare, and download only the takes you want to keep.

The recorder captures raw audio from your microphone. For noise reduction, record in a quiet environment and then use our Audio Enhancer tool to clean up the recording. Some browsers also apply basic noise suppression automatically.
