So interview day comes, and I show up early, feeling confident and ready—like this was really my moment. But when I get there…the interview room is upstairs. No elevator. No ramp. Nothing. I pointed out that I had requested accessibility, and they said, “We try to treat all candidates the same—everyone interviews in the same room.” I didn’t want to lose the opportunity, so I tried to stay positive.
