Before chasing money — chase wisdom. Before chasing applause — build character. Before chasing opportunity — develop consistency. Because wisdom protects you from mistakes your emotions want to make. Solomon also says, “Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Protect your mind. Protect your focus. Protect your vision. And in Ecclesiastes we are reminded there is “a time for everything.” So if you’re in a waiting season — don’t quit. If you’re in a building season — don’t rush.
