Can pilots be afraid of heights? Yes… some pilots are afraid of heights. But flying a plane isn’t the same as standing on a skyscraper. Fear of heights usually happens with unstable exposure or danger. Inside the cockpit, pilots are in a safe, enclosed space. They rely on instruments, not just what they see with their eyes.
