You earn 50-70% of every sale made with your voice, with the percentage increasing based on usage volume. Popular voices can earn significant passive income. The more unique and high-quality your voice, the more you can earn.

You get paid in real cash via PayPal or Stripe. Payouts are processed monthly when your balance exceeds $50. Alternatively, you can convert your earnings to TTS.ai characters at a 25% bonus — for example, $10 in earnings converts to $12.50 worth of characters for use on the platform.

The minimum is 2 hours of accepted recordings, but more data produces a better voice model. Most sellers complete the minimum in 5-10 sessions over a few days. The guided studio breaks it into manageable stages.

A quiet room and a decent microphone. USB condenser mics ($30-50) work great. Built-in laptop mics can work in very quiet environments, but a dedicated mic produces much better results.

We provide guided text to read: short sentences, emotional expressions, paragraphs from public domain books, and longer passages. Everything is provided — you just read what appears on screen.

By joining, you grant TTS.ai the right to use your recordings for: (1) training your personal AI voice model, (2) selling generated speech on the marketplace, and (3) training and open-sourcing general TTS models. You retain ownership of your voice recordings.

Yes. You can request removal of your marketplace voice at any time. Already-trained models using your data as part of aggregate training cannot be un-trained, similar to how public domain works.

Each recording is automatically checked for audio quality (SNR), correct pronunciation (speech-to-text matching), and consistency. Recordings below quality thresholds are rejected with feedback to help you improve.

As you record, you earn milestones (First Recording, 1 Hour, Voice Ready, etc.) that award bonus characters. Badges recognize achievements like Emotion Master (all 7 emotions) and quality streaks.

After reaching the 2-hour minimum, your recordings go through quality review and then model training. The typical turnaround is 1-2 weeks from completion to your voice appearing on the marketplace.
