Acerca de Hungarian texto a discurso
Hungarian text-to-speech is dominated by agglutination: grammatical relationships are built by stacking suffixes onto a stem, so a single word like "házaitokban" ("in your houses") packs what English spreads across several words. This produces extremely long word forms and a vast number of inflected variants, which a synthesizer must segment and stress correctly rather than memorize. Hungarian also has vowel harmony — suffix vowels shift to match the front/back quality of the root (-ban vs -ben) — and a strict rule that primary stress always falls on the first syllable of every word, giving the language its characteristic even, front-loaded rhythm. Long versus short vowels and consonants are phonemic and marked in spelling (a vs á, l vs ll), so digraphs like sz, zs, gy, and ny and the umlauted ő/ű must be voiced precisely for the output to sound native.
