Philip qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and spent over thirty years in public practice with a leading accounting and auditing firm, attaining the position of Deputy Managing Partner of its Pretoria office. He also served as a director and key individual for FAIS purposes in that firm's financial planning and wealth advisory business.
