I didn’t expect to run into my ex again.
It had been almost a year since we stopped talking, and I thought I’d moved on. But one night, I got a text from an unknown number.
It said, “Hey… I think you left something at my place.”
I didn’t reply at first. I figured it was a mistake.
Then another message came in.
“Please don’t ignore me. I just want to talk.”
