How did we bend the plexiglass for our wine rack?
First, we remove the protective film from the pre-cut plexiglass sheets.
Next, we place the plexiglass under an infrared heater. Using aluminum plates, we precisely limit the area that should be heated. This way, the rest of the sheet stays stable while only the desired section becomes flexible.
Then we switch on the heater.
Over the course of several minutes, the material warms up evenly. You can actually see the plexiglass slightly lifting
