What is capacitor?
A capacitor is an electronic component that stores electrical energy.
Think of it like a small rechargeable container for electricity.
But it does NOT store electricity like a battery for long time.
It stores energy for a very short time and releases it quickly.
A capacitor has two metal plates with a small space between them.
When electricity is applied:
One plate becomes positive
The other becomes negative
Energy is stored between them
