Situational Awareness
Situational awareness is your perception of what’s going on around you and how it affects you. This is more complex than seeing and hearing. It is analyzing, organizing and filtering what all your senses perceive.
New student divers tend to have relatively limited situational awareness, but with training and experience, situational awareness expands. You can think of this as “spheres” that surround you.
