“What’s something you’ll never tell your parents?”
This happened a couple years ago.
I told them I was staying over at a friend’s house. I wasn’t. I just wanted a night to myself, so I stayed home alone and didn’t tell anyone.
Everything was fine at first. I was watching videos, just relaxing. Around midnight, I heard a knock at the front door.
I froze.
No one should’ve known I was there.
I didn’t answer it. I just sat there, waiting for it to stop.
