She finds him in the war room — a room she has never been invited into — standing over a table covered in photographs and financial documents, speaking quietly to two men whose faces she has learned not to study too closely. When she enters, the two men leave without being told. Doha looks at her and reads whatever is on her face before she opens her mouth.
She sets the note on the table.
