and it would all be over.
Then suddenly—
One of the soldiers stopped.
Something felt off.
Slowly… he turned back.
His eyes locked…
on the body covering Desmond.
Silence.
Tension.
Death… just seconds away.
The soldier stepped closer…
raised his weapon
And stabbed.
Straight down.
The blade pierced through the body…
Just inches away from Desmond.
He didn’t move.
He couldn’t.
One sound one twitch and he was gone
Seconds felt like eternity
Until finally
The soldier walked away desmond was still alive
