This question came to me
when I read a story
from the Chinese philosopher, Zhuangzi.
In the story,
there was a huge tree.
Its trunk was twisted.
Its wood was rough.
And people thought
it was completely useless.
Carpenters ignored it,
because it couldn’t be used
to make anything.

At first, I thought,
“Then what’s the
