Your privacy matters. This policy explains how TTS.ai collects, uses, and protects your data.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and create a password hash. We do not store passwords in plain text.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by third-party processors (Stripe, PayPal, Square, Coinbase). We do not store credit card numbers. We receive and store transaction IDs and payment status.
Usage Data: We track credit usage, job history, and API request counts for billing and service improvement. This includes which models you use, character counts, and audio durations.
Technical Data: We collect IP addresses, browser type, and device information for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
Audio and Text Data
Text inputs: Text submitted for TTS generation is processed in real-time and not permanently stored. We may log text metadata (character count, language) for billing purposes.
Audio uploads: Audio files uploaded for transcription, enhancement, or other processing are stored temporarily on our GPU servers during processing. All uploaded and generated audio files are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
Voice cloning samples: Reference audio uploaded for voice cloning is processed to create voice embeddings. The original audio file is deleted after processing. Voice embeddings are stored on our servers and associated with your account.
No training: We never use your text, audio, or voice data to train or improve AI models. Your data is used solely to provide the requested service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing)
- To respond to support requests
- To monitor service health and performance
- To comply with legal obligations
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
- Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal, Square, and Coinbase process payments on our behalf
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights
- Service providers: We may share limited technical data with hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Service
Data Security
- All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
- API keys are stored with one-way hashing (only the prefix/suffix is visible)
- Database backups are encrypted
- Server access is restricted to authorized personnel via SSH keys
- We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure
Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We use Clicky for anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the ability to log in and use the Service.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from your account page or by contacting us

Data Retention
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active
- Uploaded and generated audio files are deleted within 24 hours
- Job history is retained for 90 days
- Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax law
- Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
